GV II
North lodge to Werrington Park and garden wall to front. Circa late C19. Ashlar snecked stone with moulded granite plinth and banded yellow brick dressings. Steeply pitched slate roof with gable ends to crosswing at front and rear and to right. Brick axial stacks. Plan: Small lodge of 'T' shaped plan, heated by axial stacks with crosswing on left, projecting to front and rear and single room on right. The entrance is directly into the right hand side of the front projection of the crosswing, near the angle with the right hand range. A lean-to outshut has been added in the C20 in the angle formed by the rear part of the crosswing and right hand range. Gothic style. Exterior: Single storey lodge with asymmetrical 1:1 window front. Granite moulded plinth and banded yellow brick dressings with banded polychrome brickwork to the window surrounds. The entrance is in the angle formed by the crosswing on left and the right hand range, with a diagonally set C19 timber open-fronted porch with segmental arch and inner panelled door. C19 4-pane sash to right. The gable ends to front left and on the right hand side have 6-pane sashes with granite lintels and polychrome tiles in the pointed arches above. The C19 wavy bargeboards are partly pierced with cusped patterns and have a central pendant and finial. Garden walls to front and left hand side, mid C19, stone rubble walls with saddle- back brick coping. Interior: C19 and C19 fixtures and fittings.
