Details
SNAITH AND COWICK HIGH STREET SE 6422 (south side) Snaith 12/67 No 13 (formerly listed as No 11 14.2.67 and No 13) GV II House and former shop. Early - mid C18 with later C18 - early C19 fenestration and shop front, C20 garage door. Brick, whitewashed to front. Clay tile roof. Plan: 3 rooms with lobby entry to left of centre; left room formerly shop, right room now garage. 2 storey with attic, 4 first-floor windows. Moulded plinth. C20 glazed door in architrave beneath segmental header arch. Double-bowed former shop front with panelled pilasters flanking blocked central entrance and C20 replacement bow windows with glazing bars beneath bowed entablature and hood. To right, a 16-pane flush sash and C20 garage doors beneath timber lintel. 3-course first-floor band with projecting chamfered upper course. First floor: 16-pane flush sashes, smaller original blind opening above entrance. Rendered courses at eaves. C20 tile-coped gable to right. Cross-plan axial stack. Small attic openiing to left return.
