KEARSLEY - SD 70 NE SD 751062 10/32 Prestolee Bridge over River Irwell - G.V. II

Packhorse bridge. Late C18, earlier than aqueduct. Stone. 5 elliptical arches with alternate projecting voussoirs. Cutwaters and flat piers. Band and parapet. The bridge is only 5 ft wide.
