Details
COLNE EAST STREET 1. 5140 (south side) TL 37 NE 5/35 Doddington Cottage II GV 2. Dated 1884 on plaque with medieval quatre foil of Barnack stone. Two-storey double fronted house of dressed stone and gault brick with a slate roof and outshut. Moulded stone band between storeys. Two first-floor hung sashes with central glazing bars in stone architraves with corbelled lintels. Two similar ground-floor windows flank central doorway with fanlight and plank door. Two medieval carved heads and window tracery in east gable.
