- II
House, probably C17, remodelled in late C19. with late C18 additions to rear. Rubble and cob. Slate roof with gable ends and C19 crested ridge tiles. Stack at right gable end, off centre stack at upper end and axial stack. Main range 3-room and cross-passage plan with large L-shaped extension to rear. 1½ storeys. 3-window range of half dormers with gabled slate roofs and timber horned sashes 6 panes over 2 panes above 3 French windows with 4 large panes and marginal galzing bars and additional half-glazed French window at upper end. Off centre slated gabled porch with front and left side windows of 4 panes with marginal glazing bars and half-glazed panelled inner door with marginal glazing bars. Lower end has panelling probably late C18 on all four walls with large bolection moulded panels over smaller dado panels with corner cabinets on decorative moulded fireplace with wrought iron hood. C17 plaster cornice survives to one wall only of chamber over lower end. No access to roof space, heavy trusses appear to be intact. Large 2-storey extension to rear with slate roofs with slated outshuts in the angle on the east side.
