URMSTON CARRINGTON ROAD SJ 79 SW (north side) (SJ 7493 NW) No 52 4/22 (The Old Rectory) (formerly listed as St. Michael's 21/9/78 Rectory) - II Rectory, now house. 1825. Flemish bond brick with slate roof. 3-bay 2-storey central-staircase plan. Symmetrical elevation with stone plinth. Central 6-panel door with engaged Roman Doric columns below a fanlight and semi- circular brick arch. 2 ground floor and 3 first floor 16- pane (and 12-pane) sash windows with stone sills and flat brick arches. Window inserted to left gable at attic level and Victorian square bay window added to North-west corner. Gable chimney stacks.
