Farmhouse. Late C18. Local yellow gault brick, English bond, with plain tiled roof with tumbled parapet gable ends on kneelers. Flush end stacks.
Contemporary kitchen and dairy wing at the rear forms L-plan. Cellar, two storeys and attic. Symmetrical facade of five flush frame twelve pane hung sashes, mid C19, under flat arches. Central doorway with shouldered architrave, pulvinated frieze and moulded cornice supporting a narrow hood. Six raised and fielded panelled door with three-light rectangular fanlight. Kitchen wing of similar brick with hipped, tiled roof and projecting side stack with offsets. Late C2O addition in re-entrant angle. Interior: Opposing front and rear doorway. The rear doorway is also late C18. Original staircase with moulded rail and square, fluted newels but with mid C19 stick balusters. Two late C18 shouldered fireplace surrounds one with pulvinated frieze, at first floor. One grey and one white marble fireplace, mid C19 at ground floor. Dormers removed.
