SY 18 NE BRANSCOMBE BRANSCOMBE

7/25 Carter chest tomb approximately - 2 metres south of porch of Church of St Winifred GV II Chest tomb. Dated 1699 in memory of John Carter. Beerstone ashlar. Chest tomb with plain sides and soffit-moulded flat lid. The base, if any, is buried. The north side is inscribed with neat Roman serif capitals and records the death of John Carter in 1699.
