HOLWELL-CUM-NEEDINGWORTH BACK LANE 1. 5140 (north side) Holywell TL 37 SW 7/31 Moynes Hall II GV 2. C17 farmhouse. T-plan of two-storeys with later extension to south wing. Main range. Rendered timber-frame and colour-washed brick. Old plain tile roofs with pantile roof to C19 dairy and wash-house. Two ridge stacks. Saw-tooth eaves cornice to left hand wing and extension with hipped plain tile roof. Two first-floor horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, and similar three-light ground floor window to left of half-glazed door. C19 two-storey bay window to right hand. Interior: Main range of four bays with original side purlin roof. Stop chamfered ceiling beams and cross-beams. (RCHM Huntingdonshire Mon 3 p 141).
