House and shop formerly Blue Ball PH. 1771. Local red brick and tiled roof with C19 crested ridge tiles and contemporary end stacks. Dentil eaves cornice. Two storeys. First floor range of four recessed twelve pane hung sashes. Two similar windows under segmental arches on either side of doorway. Two original stone steps with shaped nosing up to four panelled door, C19. Lyre shdped bootscrape to side of steps. Double fronted shop with architrave of narrow, panelled pilasters partly removed when canted bay windows inserted. The brickwork at this end of the building looks to be c.1860, although there is no visible join. The building is described as "lately built" in 1771.
