GV II

Pair of attached houses. Circa mid C19. Local slate rubble with hipped slate roofs. Red brick axial and rear central stacks and large stone rubble stack at rear of Edenhurst. Plan: T-shaped on plan with Edenhurst on left occupying the cross-wing and both with side entrances. Exterior: 2 storeys. A symmetrical 1:2 window south front, the left hand 1- window in projecting cross-wing. C19 16-pane sashes in openings with slate lintels and red brick slighly cambered arches; ground floor right (Sunny Side) has C19 4-light casement with glazing bars. The left hand return (Edenhurst) has 2 C19 2-light casements on first floor and C19 12-pane sash on ground floor, to left, all with slate sills and slightly cambered red brick arches; and doorway to left of centre with C19 panelled door and large C20 glazed porch enclosing flight of steps. Interior: not inspected but might have some of its C19 joinery.
