Two cottages. C17 or earlier and C18 with C20 renovation. Timber-framed and plastered (pebble dashed finish to No. 68). Thatched roofs. End stacks to No. 68 and end stack to south of No. 70. One storey and attic main range, later cottage to south with gable end lean-to, and single storey range to north. Two boarded doors, one to right hand in C20 closed porch. Eight ground floor C20 casement windows, two large C20 casement dormer windows and one eyebrow dormer window. Interior: Exposed substantial timber-frame with straight bracing, stop-chamfered ceiling beams and floor joists. Relined open hearth.
