House, perhaps originally 2 cottages, dated 1827 at apex of left gable.
Watershot coursed sandstone, stone slate roof with ridge chimney stack.
Shallow double-depth 2-bay plan. Two storeys, gable to road; south front
to garden has doorway offset left of centre with plain surround, lintel of
former doorway at right hand end, 2 stepped triple-light windows on each
floor. Gable wall to road has plain doorway, inserted ground floor window,
rectangular windows at 1st floor and attic. Rear wall has 2 windows each
floor, all (except altered window at ground floor of 1st bay) of 5 lights
with stepped middle light (outer lights of 1st floor window to 2nd bay
blocked). In apex of left gable is datestone lettered ESBG 1827. Interior
altered.
