TL 4070 WILLINGHAM CHURCH STREET (North Side)

Nos. 45 and 47 11/143 (Osborne House) GV II

House, now two dwellings, 1715. Soft red brick part timber framed, with broad mortar courses, part rendered, to left hand gable end. Upper courses of right hand gable end rebuilt. Steeply pitched roof now of corrugated iron, with grey gault brick ridge stack on site of original. The base of the stack has the date 1715 inscribed on a small recessed date panel. Single range plan of three bays with lobby entry. Two storeys with three brick band between floors. Original cambered header arches to three window openings, one now with mid C19 flush frame hung sash of four panes, the other two are C20. At ground floor similar arches to three C19 or later windows, and one doorway to lobby entry. Early C19 reeded doorcase. The doorway to No. 45 is C19. Interior not seen.
