ELTON MIDDLE STREET (south side) No. ll.(01d Thatched Cottage) 15/48 The sixth sentence of the description shall be amended to read:- "Central C20 panelled door and three ground floor casement windows with chamfered-slopped wooden lintels."

ELTON MIDDLE STREET TL 0893 (South Side) 15/48 No. 11 (Old Thatched Cottage) GV II Cottage. Late C17 with C19 alterations and C20 renovation. Coursed limestone rubble with freestone dressings. Thatched roof; tall parapet gables with chamfered copings and shaped corbels; end stack to left hand and former ridge stack demolished. One storey and attic with original three unit plan converted in C19 to three cottages. Central C20 boarded door and three ground floor casement windows with chamfer-stopped wooden lintels. One central two-light ovolo mullioned dormer window with facade parapet. Interior: Stop-chamfered axial beams and three open hearths with original mantel beams.
