Details
WEST WRATTING BALSHAM ROAD TL 55 SE (North west side) 4/193 Grange Farmhouse II House. Early C19. Red brick and slate roof with paired internal stacks. Two storeys and attic. Symmetrical gabled main elevation with attic thermal window above three window range of recessed twelve pane hung sashes. Doric portico of limestone to central doorway with flush panelled door and fanlight. Rear elevation has thermal window to attic and similar twelve pane sashes. One original ground floor tripartite hung sash. Interior: Opposing front and rear doorways. Open string staircase of two flights and landing with stick balusters and scroll tread ends. Probably built c.1820 by the Corporation of the Sons of the Clergy.
