Pair of houses. Datestone:- "1888" for Christine Hamlyn. Rendered and whitewashed on a rubble core, slate roof with gable ends. 2 ridge stacks with brick shafts. Plan: No 97 with central entrance hall with small flanking rooms. No 98 similar. Exterior: 2 storeys and attic, 3:2 windows on the first floor, predominantly 2-light mullioned and transomed casements with diamond-paned leaded lights. 2 door openings with half-glazed doors, gabled hoods. Elevated forecourts on rubble plinths, slate cappings, iron railings. Interior: of No 97 with late C19 joinery and chimneypieces.
