G.V. II
Farmhouse, farm buildings, wall and railings. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Slate roof with stone coped gables, ashlar stacks to rear, cast iron railings. 3 storey, 3 bay front with plinth and 3 cill bands. T-plan. Central 6 panelled door with Gothick overlight in pointed moulded stone surround and 2 steps, flanked by single tripartite bow sash windows having Gothick dentillated cornices and flat lead roofs. To first floor are 2 glazing bar sashes having ashlar lintels with raised key blocks bearing Classical carved female heads. To second floor are 3 glazing bar sashes. Interior has stick baluster stair with wreathed handrail. To the left a lower 2 storey single bay service block with raised gable and single 2 light windows to each floor. With beyond a vehicular opening with timber lintel and a single storey farm building with a planked opening, raking dormer and to the ridge 2 louvred and gabled vents. To the right are cast iron railings with spear head terminals on a low wall with plinth. Beneath the railings, the copings are made from re-used sections of rounded arches. To the left is a pent roofed structure containing a flush 6 panelled door in plain surround and to right is a similar building.
