3/296 Row of 4 Braddon headstones about - 8m north of the tower of the Church of St John the Baptist
GV II
Row of 4 headstones. Early to late C18. Slate. All the headstones have shaped scrolly heads. The northernmost commemorates Richard Braddon, died 1783. The next to the south commemorates Mary Braddon, buried 1752. The next to the south commemorates Elizabeth Braddon, buried 1759 with stylized flowers and foliage carved in the head. The southernmost is unusually wide and commemorates John Braddon, buried 1740, stylized flowers and foliage carved in the head.
