TA 10 SW CAISTOR BRIGG ROAD

8/38 Audleby House (Formerly listed as Audleby 1-11-66 Top Farmhouse) II Farmhouse, early C19, stucco, slate roof of 2 hipped ranges with a flat in between, deep overhanging bracketed eaves, 4 yellow brick stacks. The front elevation of 2 storeys and 3 bays with painted brick plinth and first floor painted brick band, narrow central recessed door bay with eaves also recessed. Central 4 panelled and moulded door flanked by Greek Doric columns supporting plain entablature with traceried fanlight over with stained glass borders, all in a plain semicircular surround. To either side are glazing bar sashes. Above are 3 similar glazing bar sashes, all with narrow glazing bars. To the left is a lower 2 storey bay with single glazing bars sashes to each floor. Side front has 3 deep glazing bar sashes to ground floor and 3 similar windows to the first. The interior has moulded plaster cornices, plain eliptical arch from hall to stair, the stair itself has plain balusters and a carved string.
