2/14 Wesleyan Chapel
II
Wesleyan chapel. 1896. Red brick, stock brick, some ashlar. Slate roofs with decorative red ridge tiles, single hip stack to rear and decorated polychrome eaves. Rectangular block with lower rectangular projection to rear. Single storey with 3 bay north front with central projecting brick porch with hipped roof and gable rising above. Pointed doorway with stock brick and ashlar pointed head, brick hood mould with ashlar label stops and plank doors. Ashlar triangular stone in gable, inscribed "Wesleyan 1896". Doorway flanked by single windows with stock brick and ashlar triangular heads, fixed glazing bars and upper triangular casements, brick hood moulds and ashlar label stops. 2 similar windows on both east and west fronts. Rear projection with 2 casement windows with stock brick segmental heads on each side, and partially glazed door with segmental head on east side.
