3/118 Churchyard gateway to east corner of Churchyard
GV II
Gateway. 1871 incorporating C14 remains. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Arch flanked by stepped buttresses. Arch of two orders, the arch formed by three stones, each one side of an octagon, with cusps to the soffits. Label has head stops. Datestone over has a quatrefoil, the date within it. This was the north door of the church (qv). (VCH, 2, p 419).
