Details
BROUGHTON HIGH STREET (west side) SU 3032 11/2 Sanford House GV II House. Early C18, addition C19. Colourwashed brick, old plain tile roof. 2 storey, 3 bay outshot to rear and C19 single storey bay to right. Central 6-panel door in doorcase of heavy architrave having carved brackets on supporting open pediment. Each side C19 4-pane sash, that to left having original rubbed brick head. On 1st floor 3 similar sashes and at right end wrought iron bracket for sign. Stack at right end. C19 bay has roundheaded window and double pile hipped roof.
