- II
Public house. C17, remodelled late C18 with some mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick infill, refronted in painted brickwork with slate roof. T-plan, rear wing to east of C17, front range C18 with gable-end stacks (external to south gable). Two storeys with three windows, all are 16-pane sashes under painted wedge lintels. Ground floor has a similar window to the right, and to the left a bay window of semi-circular plan with a flat roof, moulded wooden cornice and three curved 16-pane sashes. The central entrance has a flat-roofed portico supported on two Doric columns. The panelled door is recessed with panelled reveals. A new entrance has been formed in right-hand gable end which has a gabled half-glazed C20 porch. Framing of rear wing is three square panels high with straight angle braces.
