Farmhouse. C17, with some early C19 rebuilding. Timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill partly rebuilt in painted brick under a tile roof. Three framed bays aligned north-west/south-east, with central axial stack. South-west front of two storeys with two windows, a 2-light casement to the left and a 4-light sash to the right. The right-hand window on the ground floor has a segmental head. Entrance in northern gable has a gabled canopy and half-glazed door. Framing: four square panels high with straight angle braces. Gable-end truss has one strut to the collar. (RCHM, 3, p 197, no.13).
