GV II
Retaining wall to terrace, c 1855. By Andrews and Delaunay or W A Nesfield. Low retaining wall of rock-faced stone, canted out in the central section, punctuated by short piers on which stands urns, some of cast iron. Part of the semi-formal setting to the Hall which also includes the retaining walls of the formal garden (qv).
