Five houses. Mid-C18 with mid-C19 and some late C20 alterations. Brick with hipped tile roof. U-plan.
Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice, advanced wings; main range: three windows: moulded boxed glazing bar sashes under segmental heads, second floor: three similar sashes under flat heads; ground floor: two windows: sashes as first floor under segmental heads, entrance to No.38 at left-hand corner in place of window has moulded wooden architrave under segmental head with half-glazed door; to right of this is entrance to No.39 which has a wooden architrave under segmental head with a five-panel door, upper panel glazed; entrance to No. 40 between two windows: moulded wooden architrave under segmental head with six-panel door, upper two glazed.
Left-hand wing: canted bay window rising through two floors has a flat roof, eight-pane sashes to front and glazing bar sashes to sides, second floor: C20 sash; right-hand wing: moulded wooden architrave to a C20 wooden cross-window, boxed glazing bar sash to second floor, similar to ground floor, but with wide glazing bars. Entrance to No.37 in left return wall; wooden architrave under segmental head with six-panel door; entrance to No.41 in right return wall: wooden architrave under segmental head with half-glazed door.
