House. C17 with late C19 and mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber- framed, painted brick and rendered infill, plain tiled roofs. Two original framed bays aligned north/south with C20 framed bay at south gable end; large external chimney at north gable end with detached brick stack and lean-to bread oven. Two storeys. Framing: four panels from sill to wall- plate, some short straight braces across upper corners, collar and tie- beam truss partly visible in north gable end. West front elevation: ground floor has a 2-light C20 casement to left and a lean-to addition to right with a dentilled eaves cornice and 3-light casement; first floor has two 2-light C20 casements and a C20 single-light casement; C20 gabled brick porch to left bay with door and left sidelight in gable end and 2-light window in left side elevation. C20 external brick chimney at junction of original part and C20 additional bay. Interior not inspected. One of a group of buildings surrounding The Square.
