Two houses, now one. C16 and C17, with C19 and C20 alterations. The house formerly known as Westfield is timber-framed and completely rendered with roughcast on brick plinth; Welsh slate roof; square panelled timber-framing revealed to rear. Three bays aligned east/west with lateral stack. Two storeys; two 2-light casement windows on first floor and ground floor with garage entrance to left, 4-pane casement window and one 2-light and one 3-light casement window to left and one 2-light casement window to right of entrance with ledged door and canopied porch.
The house formerly known as Verndale is C16. Square panelled timber-framing with wattle-and-daub infill on sandstone rubble plinth; tiled roof. Three bays aligned east/west with rear lateral stack and entrance to south front. Two storeys with upper jettied floor carried on curved braces with shafts to wall-posts. Two 3-light and one 2-light casement window on first floor; ground floor with three 3-light and one 2-light window to left of ledged door.
