Hotel. 1907 on leadwork. Brick painted stone dressings, plain tile roof, brick stacks. Approximately square-plan of four windows, three storey, and two and half storey. Road front has three storey gable to left hand, rest two half storey. Arched opening to left hand with date on key. To right hand is window with three-pane fanlight, half-glazed door and tripartite window. Over all is plain frieze and moulded cornice. Above left half bay is oriel window over with decorated lead under casements and moulded cornice. In gable two tiers of attic windows, three-light segmental head casement and two-light casement at top. Right hand part two-light segmental head casements either side of sign. Overhanging eaves and on roof large three-light dormer with hipped roof on brackets. At right hand end corner oriel tower from first floor, altered late C20 with timber cladding and flat top. Under cornice carried round that there is wide segmental door on corner. On other side at far end, and windows under cornice. On first floor three segmental head two-light casements and to other bay stack with two arched panels that rises from large bracket on cornice. Far two bays have similar gable to other end.
