infill on 1st floor, plain tile roofs, brick stacks. Domestic Revival, perhaps
more 'Stockbroker Tudor', U-shaped plan of 2½ storey, 2 room deep, 4 window
range with tall roof, to one end on entrance side (porch being in other end),
2 storey and attic, 4 window range, with,to end bay, opposite 1st range,service
ranges, having to other side further service buildings. Inside entrance courtyard,
entrance range has to RH end projecting 2 storey gabled porch. In front timber
posts with spandrels to 1st floor balcony with timber decorative square panel
balustrade. Under square doorway, over rectangular bow under hipped fishscale
tile roof. Bargeboards to gable. To RH stone mullioned and transomed window
either side of external chimney with moulded armorial panel on 1st floor level,
above eaves tapering into moulded stack. To RH of it large 3-light window with
head in gabled dormer. To LH 3-light casement and high set 2-light hip-roofed
dormer. Steep-pitched hipped roof, Stack similar to other on RH hip behind
porch. Next range continues like LH part of 1st range then has two 2½ storey
gabled projections,one with high set 1st floor 4-light casement, other has similar
1st floor balcony on corbelled brackets. Garden fronts have irregular gables of
different projections. In front of them on ground floor canted or rectangular
bays. Running right across, on top of these,balconies with similar balustrade.
