13/11 North Lodge and attached former stableblock to Arnewood Court
GV II
Lodge and attached former stableblock. Circa 1880 for ATT Peterson. Mass concrete built in lifts. Slate roof to lodge. Single storey 3 x 2 bay lodge with addition to rear side linking to 2 storey 5 bay block with full height projecting wings to 2nd bay from each end on yard side. Lodge has on road elevation central square plan porch with arch-way on front over moulded cornice around sides and arched over front following line of vaulted roof. To LH 2-light casement. High set near each corner is beginning of eaves cornice of original roof that runs down sides. Hipped roof with stack on top of hip. Stableblock has on yard side large opening to centre bays and 2 arched openings in other bays. On 1st floor in each bay large and small opening, presumably for sashes. Over moulded cornice and balustraded parapet. Inside on both floors self-supporting vaulted ceilings in concrete.
