Cowshed and granary. Early C17. Magnesian limestone rubble with ashlar
quoins and pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Ground floor: 2 off-centre
entrances and 2 window openings, that to left in chamfered surround.
Central steps to 1st floor granary entrance, a C20 long-panel door. Further
window openings. Pigeon holes to right gable end. Interior: king post roof
with chamfered beams. Notable as part of a C17 complex including Hall Farm
(q.v.), Stables (q.v.), Threshing Barn (q.v.) and Burton Cottage and
Chantries Cottage (q.v.) (reputed to have been the original Hillam Hall).
