Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 with mid-C19 and late C20 alterations. Timber-framed, rendered infill, brick plinth and replacement walling, plain tiled roofs. Hall and cross-wing plan; single framed bay hall aligned east/ west; large external rubble chimney with brick stack at west gable end now enclosed to south by lean-to addition; cross-wing of two framed bays situated at east gable end. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, collar and tie-beam trusses with two struts and V-strut in apex. Windows are all C20 casements. South front elevation: hall has 2-light ground floor window, a gabled dormer with 2-light window and C20 gabled timber porch to left with 6-panelled door; cross-wing gable end has a 3-light ground floor casement and an attic light; C20 brick stack to right of roof pitch. Interior: main ceiling beams are stop-chamfered; hall ceiling beams very substantial and well-detailed. Lean-to addition at west gable end.
