Gates, overthrow and gate piers approximately 20 metres west of church of St. Andrew.

Gates, overthrow and piers. Early - mid C19. Rusticated ashlar piers,
wrought-iron gates and overthrow. Gate piers approximately 3 metres high,
each composed of chamfered base, rusticated pier, fluted entablature, deep
cornice and rusticated ball finial on stepped base. Gates of 2 leaves with
bars, dog-bars with spear-head finials and lock rail. Overthrow composed
of a band of acanthus-leaf motifs with spear-head finials to bars above.
The gates are very similar to those illustrated south of the church (q.v.)
in Whitaker. T. D. Whitaker, History and Antiquities of the Deanery
of Craven, 1878, 3rd edition, p210.
