GV II
Farmhouse. C17, extended mid-C18 with some mid-C19 alterations. Timber- frame with painted brick infill, partially rebuilt in painted brick, extended in painted rubble. L-plan, with cross-wing extending to south, other range to east. A C18 wing added extending north from north-west corner of cross-wing. North front C18 range to right has a blind gable end. Immediately to the left of this, the gabled cross-wing then the subsidiary range. All of two storeys with a 3-light casement to left and a fixed casement to right. Ground floor has a 3-light casement with a plank weathering and a 2-light casement. Entrance is central with a gabled tiled canopy on wooden posts. Framing: two square panels high to first floor. Interior has exposed chamfered and stopped ceiling beams. C18 wing contains a cider mill and press. (RCHM, 3, p 216, no 3).
