BREINTON CP - SO 44 SE 5/6 3 Manor Cottages and South View
- II
House, now sub-divided into tenements. Probably C17 but possibly of earlier origin, largely altered during C20. Timber-framed with sandstone plinth, painted brick infill; stone slate roof, C20 brick additions to rear. Four framed bays aligned north/south facing west with forward pro- jecting wing adjoining toward south of west front; C20 rear additions, north gable-end stack and lateral stack to west, entrances to north of west front and in south gable end. Single storey and attic; three dormers with 2-light leaded casements, ground floor: square-headed doorway to left with ledged door, pair of 2-light casements to left and one to right of stack, gable end of wing: one C20 window in gable, pair of leaded 2-light casements below, similar pair of casements to main house to right of wing.
