House. Early C18, altered in early C19. Gault brick in Flemish bond, roofed with slate. Rectangular plan facing NE with one axial stack, one internal stack at left end, one rear stack at right end. 2 storeys, attics and cellar. 5-window range of early C19 sashes of 12 lights with shallow segmental arches and some crown glass. Central flush 6-panel door, overlight with geometrical tracery, and Tuscan portico with 2 stone steps. Hipped roof of shallow pitch. Similar windows in left return, one of which opens below the sill to form a door. Similar windows in right return, and C18 window complete with wrought iron casement, moulded mullions and all saddle bars. Early C19 stair with stick balusters and wreathed handrail, probably of walnut, complete to attic storey. Shutters, doors, borrowed lights and other internal features of the C18 and early C19. In right ground floor room, early C19 fitted corner cupboard. The floors have been altered to accommodate the present stair; the front first-floor windows are at fldor level, and rise above some of the ceilings.
