The second and third sentence of the description for the above property shall be amended to read:- C18. Forehouse rebuilt and converted into dwelling 1988/9 (not of special architectural or historic interest).

CHARLETON SX 74 SE 5/2 Lime Kilns approximately loom south-east of New Bridge GV II The entry shall be amended to read: SX 74 SE CHARLETON 5/2 Lime Kilns approximately loom south-east of New Bridge GV II Three integral limekilns. C18; forehouse rebuilt and converted into dwelling 1988/9. Slatestone rubble walls with crenellated parapet. Two limekilns opening at the front (into forehouse) and one on the right-hand return wall. Each has arched opening with flattened head at the front of small chamber. Forehouse built onto front wall, representing a rebuilding of an earlier stone forehouse. These kilns are probably of mid C18 date, and formed part of the Marquis of Northampton's estate.

Three integral lime kilns. C18. Slatestone rubble walls with crenellated parapet. 2 limekilns opening at the front and one on the right-hand return wall. Each has arched opening with flattened head at the front of small chamber. Late C20 wooden shed built onto front wall. Set in a prominent location overlooking Kingsbridge estuary and visible from the town.
