EWERBY AND EVEDON EVEDON TF 04 NE 2/22 The Manor House 27/9/83 II
Farmhouse. Late C16, altered C19. Limestone ashlar, slate roof with raised stone coped gables with scrolled kneelers, 2 twin funnel square ashlar gable stacks with plain cornices. L-plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front with chamfered plinth. Central 4 panelled door with low traceried fanlight in a semi-circular headed moulded stone frame with lozenge decorated keyblock. Single Doric pillars support a moulded entablature to flat ashlar head. Flanked by single 3 light windows. To first floor a 2 light window is flanked by single 3 light windows. All windows have tall slender ovolo molulded mullions and recessed chamfered surrounds. To left gable C19 2 light window has a chamfered mullion. The coursed limestone rubble rear range contains C19 2 and 3 light chamfered mullion windows to each floor.
