GV II
House, now 2 houses. C18 or earlier, altered in early C19. Timber framed, roughcast rendered at front, plastered elsewhere, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. Main range facing NW, with axial stack at left end and rear stack near right end. 2 adjacent rear wings, each with a single-storey lean-to extension beyond (weatherboarded with slate roof to no. 58). 2 storeys. 2-window range of early C19 sashes of 16 lights, with some crown glass. No. 58, 6-panel door, bottom panels flush with inserted glazing in 4 panels, in early C19 simple doorcase with moulded pediment on profiled brackets; one stone step, almost flush with pavement. No. 60, similar door but with the top 4 panels fielded, in similar doorcase. Moulded eaves cornice. No. 58 has at the rear of the ground floor one C19 horizontal sash of 15+15 lights. No. 60 has at the rear of the first floor one early C19 sash of 16 Lights. Access to interiors not obtained. Part of RCHM 32.
