2. Originally a C17 timber-framed and plastered house built on a half-H plan but greatly altered in the C18-C19 when it was refaced in red brick. The rear is faced in weatherboarding. 2 storeys and attics. The front has 3 gables; the centre one is higher than the outer gables. 4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, with stuccoed flat arches. There are 2 doorways, 1 with a semi-circular stuccoed arch. Roof tiled. (RCHM l0).
