A small red brick church with blue brick diapering and a tiled roof. It was entirely built in the early C16 except the north aisle which was added in 1847, the west tower has an embattled parapet, diagonal buttresses and original brick windows, The brick detailing is good. There are good original brick windows on the south side of the nave and chancel.
The interior has an original brick arcade of octagonal piers and four centred arches. Fittings include a C16 brick octagonal rant and a C17 Pulpit. (RCHM 2).
