9/208 Lychgate to church of St Mary the - Virgin
GV II
Lychgate. 1902, erected by Edwin Dunning of Stoodleigh Court to commemorate the surrender of the Boers (inscription). Stone rubble and timber with a tiled roof gabled at ends. Large lychgate with openwork timber sides with ogee braces supported on stone rubble walling. Inscription on south side in bronze letters.
