House adjacent to no. 5 (q.v.). Mid C19, possibly incorporating earlier work.
Rendered rubble; gable end slate roof, its roof ridge lower than that of no. 5.
Double depth plan, with shop to left of entrance, principal room to right; left-hand
end stack shared with no. 5; right-hand end stack set just to the rear of roof ridge
with tall brick stack. Exterior Front: asymmetrical 3 window range; hornless sash
windows to first floor, 3 panes up, 6 down; ground floor : porch right of centre,
pretty C19 open timber work with canopy ; shop window to the left with hornless
sash, 6 panes up, 12 down; another hornless sash window to the right, 4 panes up, 8
down. Interior not inspected.
