Large detached house in landscaped garden. Circa 1840 in Jacobean style. Rendered
stone rubble. Steeply pitched shaped tile roof. Two storeys and attic. North
front five bays. Left and right end bays slightly advanced with large shaped gables
with pierced stone finials and rectangular lancets. Left hand with two storey
rectangular bay window with five light stone mullion window. The rest of the
fenestration is of three, and four light stone mullion windows with hood moulds.
Centre first floor has small pediment in small shaped gable. Below is a central
doorway with squat tapered pilasters and heavy stone cornice.
Adjoining at west end is some rustic flint rubble walling with battlements and blind
or blocked pointed arch doorway and windows. Possibly a rebuilding of an C18 Gothic
house.
