Lapley Farmhouse
II
Dwelling, formerly farmhouse. Late C17. Coursed stone, with squared marlstone to right gable, and brick extension, left, concrete tile roof. Long end-gabled block, probably built in stages, projecting hipped stair turret at back, gable and central stacks. Two storeys and attic, part basement, 3+2-windowed: four small hipped dormers, and in right gable two small shuttered openings to attic space, at first floor four 2-light stone-mullioned, three with dripcourses, and one deeper cross-mullion and transome, right end; at ground floor one late C20 casement, two 2-light mullioned as above, and at right, deep cross-mullion and transome as above. C19 porch and door off-centre right, approached by steps. To right of last window, 2-light mulioned casement to cellar. At back is small hipped dormer, deep stair projection in third bay, and two cross-mullion and transome lights towards south gable, corresponding with those on main facade. Interior not seen.
