ST 20 SE MEMBURY NORTH MILL LANE 5/398 North Mill House
II
House. Circa early C17. Stone inside dated 1624 and 1630. Small stone rubble house. Thatched hipped roof. Two storeys. Three window range. One bay outbuilding at west end with plastered first floor. Two and three light casements with glazing bars. Central doorway with cambered head, plank door and modern porch. Short wing at rear under hipped roof. Outshut at rear with tiled roof. Interior: large open fireplace with massive chamfered timber bressummer carried over opening to side with arched head. Stone to side of fireplace with carved dates 1625 and 1630.
