GV II


A small C16-C17 timber -framed and plastered house with exposed timber-framing. The north-east front is jettied on the upper storey. The house is patterned by diagonal bracing. The present house is probably the remaining wing of a larger house. The north west front has an original doorway with a 3 centred arched head. The windows are casements with leaded lattice lights. 4-light mullioned and transomed windows on the east front. Roof tiled, with C19 diagonal shafted chimney stacks. RCHM (17).
