2. Late C18 but possible earlier origin re steep pitch of roof. Long and low red brick house with high parapet with moulded stone coping, and moulded cornice; 2 storeys. 2:3:2 bays, centre 3 pedimented, with lunette. Sashes with glazing bars, ground floor almost to ground level, stuccoed heads. Central portico with fluted Doric columns supporting entablature, glazed and panelled door in recess. Right hand blocked round-headed doorway in segmental-headed recess. Behind parapet a steep gable-ended roof with black-glazed pantiles. Two brick chimney stacks. Interior: ground floor room with thin Boric pilasters to windows and fireplace with original grate. Doorcases with moulded architraves and panelled doors. Round-headed stair sash window and staircase with stick balusters.
